Our Mission
We aim to facilitate thriving and vibrant academic, economic, and sociocultural lives for communities in transition. Our goal is to foster a spirit of mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration among community members by creating materials that promote the authentic exchange of ‘funds of knowledge’ through dialogic communication.
History
Diversity International was founded in Silver Spring, Maryland in 2007 by Rachna Rikhye. Rachna is an educator, and a curriculum and instructional design specialist with over 15 years of experience in the field of English Language Development and cross-cultural community building.
Profits from our publications are used to fund grassroots projects that strengthen community and benefit at-risk children and young adults.
